[CCL Activity] Transforming General Education with AI: A Showcase of Successful Student-Staff Partnership
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionise education. This seminar will showcase the successful implementation of AI in General Education (GE) courses, with a view to enriching audience’s insights into how student-staff collaboration can empower students in pedagogic innovation. A highlight of the seminar will be the presentation of a successful student-staff partnership initiative in the GE course “GTSU2026 Sustainable Peace: Conflict-Resolution and Reconciliation of Divided Communities”. Two student partners, Ms Joyce Lin and Mr Michael Tse from the Department of Government and International Studies (GIS), will demonstrate their active involvement in the adoption of AI tools in this course, alongside two faculty members, Dr. Martin Chung from GIS and Dr. Simon Wang from Language Centre, who are keen to establish constructive inter-departmental collaboration.
