Student Subsidies

| Under the GE Capstone Mini-grant, subsidy will be provided to students who enrol in the Level 3 GE Capstone that requested to cover out-of-pocket/outbound expenses directly related to the course or activites. | |||

*The subsidies cover transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses by students during non-local activities. Expenses will be settled directly with a travel agency as a group payment or reimbursed to the payer(s) upon submission of original and valid receipts and invoices.
Subsidies for Students’ Out-of-Pocket Expenses (applicable to courses with local activities only)
Students should complete the application form and submit it to the course offering department for approval and reimbursement after project completion. The subsidies will be released to the eligible students by the Finance Office.
Subsidies for Students’ Outbound Expenses (applicable to courses with non-local activities only)
The subsidies cover transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses by students during non-local activities. Expenses will be settled directly with a travel agency as a group payment or reimbursed to the payer(s) upon submission of original and valid receipts and invoices.
The Tin Ka Ping Foundation Service-Learning (TKP-SL) Programme supports the design and implementation of credit-bearing service-learning courses, in which students are engaged to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom to serve the community. The Programme enables local and Mainland students to practise social responsibility through their learning, while gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and values, developing advanced critical thinking skills, and ultimately emerging as globally-minded citizens of China.
The student subsidies will be provided to students who enrol in the funded courses. Financial support will not be provided to self-funded undergraduate programmes.

Character and Ethics Development Scheme aims at promoting students’ cultural understanding and personal identities through meaningful exposure to, and personal immersion in, the selected parts of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and the “Cross-Strait Four Regions” of China.
The student subsidies will be provided to students who enrol in the funded courses. Financial support will not be provided to self-funded undergraduate programmes.
