Speak Up! HKBU’s Public Speaking Contest

 

The Speak Up! HKBU’s Public Speaking Contest allows you to freely share your thoughts and ideas and comprehensively use the skills that you’ve learnt in Public Speaking course. With a new and exciting approach, you will have the chance to increase your confidence in public speaking as well as express your ideas effectively in order to prepare yourself as a professional in the future.

 

Speech Catogories

In the contest, you can choose to deliver your speech in 3 categories:

  1. The Advocate: way of thinking; a belief or standpoint
  2. The Innovator: a new way of doing things; new ideas
  3. The Entertainer: to entertain people

 

Prizes

For each category, there will be:

  • Champion: HK$1000 cash coupon
  • 1st Runner-up: HK$600 cash coupon
  • 2nd Runner-up: HK$400 cash coupon
