《相約星期二》 Tuesdays With Morrie
Introduction
“Tuesdays With Morrie” is adapted from the famous memoir of the same name, which was written by Mitch Albom and Jesus Dominguez. As the 11th run drama of Chung Ying Theatre Company, the drama is directed by the experienced director, Mr. Ko Tin Lung and starred by two famous theatre actors, Mr. Chung King Fai and Mr. Chan Kwok Pong. The drama was awarded “The Best Director (Tragedy/Drama)”, “The Best Actor (Tragedy/Drama)”, and “The Ten Most Popular Productions” at the 17th Hong Kong Drama Award.
In “Tuesdays With Morrie”, Mitch became a successful sports columnist after graduating from the college, despite his childhood dream of being a pianist. By chance he saw his college professor Morrie 16 year ago on the television and knew that he was dying in decease, so he was prompted to travel from Michigan to Massachusetts to visit him every Tuesdays. These fourteen meetings eventually turned into one inspiring and universal lesson for him: the meaning of life and death.
