Movie Show and Discussion: Yau King 《有敬》電影欣賞及分享會
Is it a blessing to live for over a hundred years? Yauking came to Hong Kong alone and worked as a housemaid. She lost the ability to take care of herself and needed intensive care in a nursing home as she grew old. Although she wanted to die badly, her Christian belief saved her from committing suicide. Who can define the value of life? What is the meaning of life to one who no longer has the ability to take care of him/herself?
長命百歲是否一種福氣？朱有敬自幼離鄉，隻身來港當傭人，至晚年因行動不便需特別護理，要面對艱苦的餘生。厭世的她曾自殺，基督信仰拯救了她。生死由誰來決定呢？當人不能照料自己時，生命的意義又是甚麼呢？
The movie will be in Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles, and is recognized as a CCL activity .
