Innovation, Wellness & Bubble Bars at our GE Buddy Development Workshop!

What happens when you bring brilliant GE Buddies and Student Partners into one room? Pure magic! That was the vibe at our GE Buddy Development Day 2026.

Guided by our theme, “The Sustainable Classroom,” we spent the morning connecting, collaborating, and getting creative. Together, we dove deep into the future of learning, exploring ideas like:

• Integrating AI in education to spark new possibilities.
• Turning learning on its head with the flipped classroom model.

But we know a sustainable classroom isn’t just about innovative pedagogy—it's about the people. That’s why we asked a simple question: "How do you relax during a busy workday?" The honest answers were a powerful reminder that well-being can’t be an afterthought.

A huge thank you to our friends at LUSH for showing us what sustainability looks like in action! We all got to roll up our sleeves and make our own colourful bubble bars!

After all, a little “me time” is essential for us to show up as better educators, partners, and learners—sometimes, that’s as simple as a bath to wash the day away.
