Fisherfolk Cultural Tour in Cheung Chau 「漁」樂無窮@長洲水域 – 香港漁民文化生態導賞團

In Hong Kong, we always see different kinds of vessels moored at typhoon shelters. How much do you know about them?
With abundant marine resources, Cheung Chau is a small island surrounded by the sea. In the past, fishery was prosperous and Cheung Chau was inhabited by a large number of fishermen. A unique fisherfolk culture was thus developed. In the guided tour, you will know more about the nearshore operations of fishery, fisherfolk culture and wisdom, as well as take a closer look at nearby geology and marine ecology by visiting mariculture rafts and watching demonstration of fishing practices.
