Hong Kong Baptist University Annual Report 2024-2025 was recently published by the Communication and Public Relations Office, which encapsulates the major achievements of the University during the past year.

HKBU is integrating advanced tools like generative AI and virtual reality across its curriculum to build students’ technical fluency and meaningful application skills. Virtual Teaching and Learning elements were added to 33 General Education courses, benefiting about 2,300 students, and a flipped classroom model was introduced to boost active learning, creativity, and problem-solving. Starting September 2025, all incoming undergraduates will take a new General Education course, “AI Literacies for Social Good,” to ensure foundational AI literacy and responsible use of AI.
