AY2023/24 Semester 2 The GE-nius Quiz

Participate in the "GE-nius Quiz" and win a prize!

Objectives:

  • To allow students to have a better understanding of the GE Programme; and
  • To prepare students for the registration of GE courses offered in Semester 2, AY2023/24

 

Eligibility:

  • All students enrolled in the UGC-funded undergraduate programmes at HKBU are eligible to participate.

 

Participation:

  • Students have to answer 12 questions related to the GE Programme/courses via an Online Quiz Form.
  • Students are encouraged to visit the GE website to look for answers.

 

Prize:

  • Participation Prize: Students who complete all 12 Quiz questions will receive a set of GE souvenirs.
  • Satisfactory Prize: Students who answer 8 or more questions correctly will receive an HK$25 voucher on a first come, first served basis.
  • First Prize: Students who answer the most questions correctly will automatically enter a lucky draw and will have a chance to win an additional HK$100 voucher (10 prizes in total).

 

Rules and Regulations:

  • The organiser, i.e. the General Education Office (GEO), reserves the right to amend the regulations and other arrangements without prior notice, and the organiser’s decision on all matters related to the Quiz shall be final in case of any disputes.
  • Each student can submit answers ONCE only. If a student submits more than one entry, only the last submission will be counted.

 

Important Dates:

  • Quiz Opening Date: 5 Jan 2024
  • Quiz Closing Date: 31 Jan 2024
  • Announcement of Results: Late Mar 2024
  • Collection of Prizes: Early Apr 2024
