Financial Planning: A Pre-emptive Measure to Various Social Issues

This is an Experiential Learning Course.

 

This course is designed to help students realizing the importance of personal financial planning to their future and have a favor of the social impact should they do not do it properly. Student will understand how to build a disciplined financial plan in an early stage to achieve the financial goals and non-financial goals in their lives. Other essential tools (e.g., mortgages and savings) will be introduced to solve problems at various stages of life.

 

One of the best means to learn is to teach. In collaboration with professionals, students will engage in activities (e.g. joining the Personal Finance Ambassador Programme) to promote a specific topic relating to Financial Planning to their peers, the youth. The direct engagement in activities will allow students to integrate academic content with real teaching/marketing experiences.
