GDCV1007 Hong Kong Cinema and Hong Kong Culture

(Translation) I’ve learned a lot from this course. We always complain Hong Kong film for its poor quality. Yet, some of the Hong Kong films in 1980s, which were taught in this course, are the best classics. The instructor teaches some professional knowledge such as the trend of film in a specific generation and the shooting skills of the film. Thus, students can learn to appreciate movies from another point of view, rather than only focusing on the superficial attractiveness of the content or special effects. Final reminder: this’s a very popular GDCV course as students can watch many good movies in class, so you need to act fast if you want to enroll in it!
