GCPE1066 Tai Chi

這個科目可以提升同學對運動的興趣,亦有益身心。很多人認為太極是老人家的運動,不適合年輕人玩,但其實太極很適合我們,尤其適合經常要熬夜做功課,上堂沒精神的同學。太極可以訓練我們的耐性及柔力,動作十分緩慢,能舒緩壓力及平衡身心,而且太極是中國傳統的代表,可惜在香港不多青年有機會學習這運動。太極是很值得推介的科目。

(Translation) This course can arouse students’ interest to sports and exercises and it’s good for our mental and physical health. Many people think that Tai Chi is only for the elderlies and not for teenagers. But in fact, it is very suitable for us, especially those who need to study till late night. Tai Chi can help improve our patience and stamina. The slow motion can help release our stress and balance our busy life. Tai Chi is a Chinese signature sports. It is pity that not many youngsters have chances to learn this sport. This course is highly recommended.
