What is the course about?

GDAR1015 aims to deepen students’ understanding of a facet of Chinese civilization, namely the relationship between humans and nature in Chinese literature. The course places Chinese travel literature in the context of the world’s natural cultural heritage in China. This curricular design shall offer a comprehensive perspective from which students are guided to evaluate and appreciate Chinese travel literature more effectively.
